How do I Enable the Tags for; Broadcasting, Commentary, Prizes, and Stewarding?
To support our communities who are creating long-lasting support for their drivers, You must have an entry fee in order for these tags to show. ($3 Minimum, Per Car).
Does SimGrid support Charity Events?
Due to the large volume of requests we receive, we cannot support every charity event. We may, on occasion, provide prizing and social support, at our discretion.
How do I claim our Entry Fee revenue?
Following the completion of your series, please contact [email protected], with your League and Series Name in the subject line. From here, we will coordinate your transfer of funds following any outstanding fees, amendments, etc.
Can I offer my own payment option for paid events?
It is strictly prohibited from offering alternative payment methods, either via private channels or links in the event description.
Does SimGrid offer Stewarding, Broadcasting, or Race Direction services?
SimGrid can provide these services on a cost basis. If you would like to hire our staff, please feel free to contact our commercial team via [email protected]
How are entry fees charged?
Entry Fees are charged per entrant. SimGrid deducts payment fees and 15% commission from all entry fees paid.
Example of Entry Fee Breakdown
- If you charge $10 entry fee:
- 3% + $0.25 transaction fee: $0.55
- 15% platform fee: $1.50
- You will receive $7.95 per entry
How does my community feature in the Community Spotlight?
In order to feature, please contact our commercial team via [email protected] and we will have our writing team reach out. Please note, you must have hosted at least 3 events on our platform to be eligible.
Are we able to create an event that connects two communities together?
An event can only be hosted by one host, however, you can use the Series Title to mention others; Brands, Hosts or Sponsors.
If we run 2 different classes, can we have them show in overall standing?
Scoring only applies to the classes in which they are in. If you have 2 or more classes they will present in individual classes.
Why does a Team/Driver display as DSQ?
DSQ (Disqualified) occurs when a Team/Driver quits an event after it has already started or receives too many penalty points from missing races in a championship.
