As part of our ongoing commitment to providing the pinnacle of Assetto Corsa Competizione Sim Racing, we’re delighted to reveal not 1, not 2… but 15 prizes on offer to participants in Split 2 and 1 massive prize for everyone.
The AK Informatica “Overtake of the Series”
The first prize to be announced is a brand new, GEFORCE RTX 3080 from NVIDIA. The GeForce RTX™ 3080 delivers the ultra-performance that gamers crave. We’ve also heard they’re pretty hard to come by at the moment, so this could be a pretty sweet prize if you win!
How to enter?
In order to win this awesome prize, be sure to follow The Sim Grid social media channels, where we will be hosting our “Overtake of the Race” campaign. Be sure to vote for your favourite overtake and every time you vote, you’ll receive an entry (max 1. Per platform). At the end of the season, we shall draw at random a winner. Users must be following The Sim Grid socials in order to be eligible.
For Split 2
The AK Informatica Overtake Award
Open to all drivers in Split 2, the team who gains the most positions at the 24 Hours of Spa will receive a brand new set of DDR4 16GB Ram each for their PC.
How to enter?
To be eligible for this prize, you must be entered in Split 2 for The Sim Grid x VCO World Cup THRUSTMASTER 24H OF SPA FRANCORCHAMPS. The team who gains the most positions, from their starting position on the grid, will receive a seat of RAM per person (max 4 drivers).
The AK Informatica Fastest Lap Award
Open to all drivers in Split 2, the driver who posts the pole position time of each round will receive 1 x $50 Voucher to use at The AK Informatica Online Store. With 5 races, that’s potentially $250 up for grabs!
How to enter?
The “Pole Position” prize will be awarded to the Driver with the fastest, valid, qualifying session lap. Following the completion of each race, the stewards shall review the fastest laps and determine the validity of said lap.
The AK Informatica Race Winner Award
Open to all drivers in Split 2, the team who wins each round of the series will win 1 x $100 Voucher between the team (Max 4 drivers) to use at The AK Informatica Online Store. With an exceptional range of equipment on offer, there’s no doubt you’ll be able to pick up some sweet new kit with this prize!
How to enter?
The team who finishes the race (post penalties and adjudication) in the highest position (P1) shall receive a $100 voucher of credit to be used as a team, per race.
To those of you who have made it this far, we have one more announcement. We can also confirm that Coach Dave himself will be adding additional prizes to the championship, with the winning team of each round receiving a GTWC and BGT Setup Bundle of choice (worth over $35!). With their bespoke setup service to Assetto Corsa Competizione, any drivers lucky to get their hands on these setups are sure to benefit!
