Here at The Sim Grid, season two of the highly anticipated More Female Racers Series by Thrustmaster has recently finished. The Esports initiative, focusing on providing women with an Esports platform to showcase their talents was, once again, an overwhelming success. Not only was the racing highly competitive, but the series also benefited through support and recognition from some of Motorsports most-prominent Female racers.

Throughout the series, both Charlie Martin and Abbie Eaton took time out to talk to the More Female Racers participants – giving their thoughts and advice for females in motorsport!

Charlie Martin

Charlie Martin was the first female racing ambassador to chat with our participants in Season 2. As well as being a participant in the Virtual Championship, she is also due to participate in the 2021 Britcar Endurance Championship. Charlie gave an excellent interview to The Sim Grid audience, raising awareness to the importance of having diversity within Motorsport, whilst also providing people with advice on how to integrate Sim Racing with real-world motorsport. Abbie Eaton

The second of our Q+A sessions involved Abbie Eaton. Widely known for her involvement in The Grand Tour, Abbie is also highly a successful Racing driver. During her chat with Chaz Draycott, she told our viewers about; her first involvement in motorsports as a female, her thoughts on the future of Sim Racing and also how best to present yourself within the racing community.
