This Month at The Sim Grid: March Madness 2021

February was so action-packed, and frankly, we loved every single moment of it! March brings even more racing right to your screens here at The Sim Grid and hence, deserves the title of March Madness. Here are all the events that will take place in March 2021.

American Night

We start March fresh with our first event, The American Night. This event is exclusively open only for the Chevrolet Camaro. The track in question is none other than Laguna Seca, which makes this an excellent combination for a race. The event will be held on the 4th of March, 2021. Registrations are live, so hurry up and register!

Endurance Cup

Shortly following American Night is the next instalment of the Endurance Cup. This marks the final race of the current season, and it all culminates over at Silverstone. Watch racers take to the track on the 6th of March, 2021, over at The Sim Grid YouTube Channel.

Sprint Cup

We have a mix of tournaments ending and starting in March. One of the new tournaments is the Sprint Cup. The championship will begin its third season this month, with two rounds happening over a few weeks. You can catch all the action on our YouTube channel.

Snetterton

The first round of season three takes us to the reliable Snetterton circuit. The event will be held on the 11th of March, 2021.

Misano

The second round of the Sprint Cup 3rd season will be held at the Misano track. This race will take place on the 25th of March, 2021.

Fantastic Four

A quirky yet fun event is in store for March with the Fantastic Four race. This is a multiclass event open to all the classes! The entire session will take place at the beloved Spa Francorchamps, and it will be held on the 18th of March, 2021. Registrations begin starting at 17:00 CET on Monday, 8th March 2021.

Fantastic Four will have Spa play host to all 4 classes of car!

Super Saturday

Super Saturday is back with a bang for March, and this time, we are leaving no stone unturned. We have not one but three Super Saturdays! Each Super Saturday will kick off with three support races followed by the marquee event, Best of British. Only the total time of Best of British races will differ for all the Super Saturdays. Please note that only the Support Races for every Super Saturday is open to registration. The Best of British championship is solely based on our qualification process.

Super Saturday 13.03

The first Super Saturday takes place on the 13th of March, 2021 and will feature the Ginetta Cup, Porsche Cup and GT4 Super Sprint as the support races. The day will end with a 90mins edition of Best of British. Registration for the Support Races begins at 17:00 CET on March 4th 2021. All the support races will take place on the Oulton Park circuit.

Ginetta Cup

The trusty and super popular Ginetta Cup returns for March Madness with the Practice session starting at 17:00 CET until 17:25 CET. The Qualifying will take place from 17:25 to 17:35 CET. Finally, the race session will commence at 17:40 CET and will go on till 18:10 CET.

Porsche Cup

The Porsche Cup is the second support race of the day, with Practice starting at 18:05 CET until 18:30 CET. The qualifying follows shortly after, beginning at 18:30 CET and ending at 18:40 CET. At last, the Race session gets underway occurring from 18:45 to 19:15 CET.

GT4 Super Sprint

The day’s final support race, The GT4 Super Sprint, is a fun event with practice starting at 19:10 CET, lasting until 19:35 CET. The qualifying session takes place from 19:35 to 19:45 CET. The race will take place from 19:50 to 20:20 CET.

Best of British – Oulton Park

We come to the marquee event of Super Saturday I. The Best of British round will take place at the Oulton Park, and the race will be a 90mins edition. The practice will occur from 20:15 to 20:40 CET, while the qualifying will take place from 20:40 CET to 20:55 CET. Our marquee race will be held between 21:00 to 22:30 CET.

Super Saturday 20.03

The second Super Saturday takes place on the 20th of March, 2021 and will feature the Ginetta Cup, Porsche Cup and Ferrari Challenge as the support races. The day will end with a 2.4 hours edition of Best of British. Registration for the Support Races begins at 17:00 CET on March 11th 2021. All the support races will take place at the Donington track.

Ginetta Cup

The Ginetta Cup returns once more, with the Practice session starting at 17:00 CET until 17:25 CET. The Qualifying will take place from 17:25 to 17:35 CET. The race session will commence at 17:40 CET and will go on till 18:10 CET.

Porsche Cup

The Porsche Cup is once again the second support race of the day, with Practice starting at 18:05 CET until 18:30 CET. Qualifying follows next, beginning at 18:30 CET and ending at 18:40 CET. At last, the Race session gets underway occurring from 18:45 to 19:15 CET.

Ferrari Challenge

The final support race of Super Saturday II is the Ferrari Challenge, a fun event with practice starting at 19:10 CET, lasting until 19:35 CET. The qualifying session takes place from 19:35 to 19:45 CET. The race will take place from 19:50 to 20:20 CET.

Best of British – Donington

The marquee event of Super Saturday II is the 2.4h Best of British. The event will take place at Donington, and the race will be a 2.4 hour one. The practice will occur from 20:15 to 20:40 CET, while the qualifying will take place from 20:40 CET to 20:55 CET. Our marquee race will be held between 21:00 to 23:30 CET.

Super Saturday 27.03

The third and final Super Saturday takes place on the 27th of March, 2021 and will feature the Super Trofeo, Ginetta Cup and Porsche Cup as the support races. The day will end with another 90mins edition of Best of British. Registration for the Support Races begins at 17:00 CET on March 18th 2021. All support races will take place at the Silverstone circuit.

Super Trofeo

The Super Trofeo returns in March after making a mark in February 2021. The Practice session starts at 17:00 CET and ends at 17:25 CET. The Qualifying will take place from 17:25 to 17:35 CET. The race session will commence at 17:40 CET and will go on till 18:10 CET.

Ginetta Cup

To shake things up for the last Super Saturday, the Ginetta Cup will be the second support race of the day instead of the first one, with Practice starting at 18:05 CET until 18:30 CET. Qualifying follows next, beginning at 18:30 CET and ending at 18:40 CET. The Race session will last from 18:45 to 19:15 CET.

Porsche Cup

The final support race of Super Saturday III and the final support race of March is the Porsche Cup, with practice starting at 19:10 CET, lasting until 19:35 CET. The qualifying session takes place from 19:35 to 19:45 CET. The race will take place from 19:50 to 20:20 CET.

Best of British – Silverstone

The last race of March Madness is also the marquee event of Super Saturday III. The final Best of British round will take place at Silverstone, and the race will yet again be a 90mins edition. The practice will occur from 20:15 to 20:40 CET, while the qualifying will take place from 20:40 CET to 20:55 CET. Our marquee race will be held between 21:00 to 22:30 CET.

Indeed, a lot is going on, but there is an event out there for every sim racer. Each event promises to be an adrenaline-pumping session, and you have plenty to be excited about. We cannot wait to get started with March Madness!
