After a lot of thought and with a heavy heart, I have made the difficult decision to sell Pitwall.live.
When Pitwall.live first became available, we took the opportunity seriously. Me and my team have used the platform since its early days and always had huge respect for the founders, Toon and Kris.
When we acquired Pitwall it was at a critical juncture as it was about to be shut down. I thought we could take it over, make some updates and give it a second chance to shine. But I was wrong, because of my focus on Coach Dave and SimGrid – two massive projects in their own right – I was not able to give Pitwall the attention it deserved.
Over time, Pitwall.live has become one of the leading live timing tools in sim racing world and has even made a mark in real-world racing, with real life racing teams in championships like the FIM Endurance World Championship relying on its functionality.
Pitwall.live has huge potential to grow, but the success of my other businesses, SimGrid and Coach Dave Delta, require the full attention of me and my team. For this reason, I have made the difficult decision to look for a new home for Pitwall.live, allowing someone with the same passion we have to unlock its potential.
Our first priority is to find a willing buyer who’d like to take over the website, add new games to the platform, or pursue live timing opportunities in the real world (which is the biggest area of growth potential for the app). However, if we are unable to find a new home for the app then we will have no choice but to shut it down.
