SimGrid Seasons 6 Arrives in Style

Seasons_S6W1

SimGrid Seasons 6 begins today, and with it, we have new races to experience, new time slots to race in and new prizes for you all to win. Let’s show you what’s changed and what’s on offer this season. If you’ve not raced in Seasons before, there is no better time than now.

Changes In The Format

Previously in SimGrid Seasons, we’d be running the Half Hour Dash powered by Thrustmaster every hour, every day of the week, that’s changing this season. Now it will run from 16:00 pm to 02:30 am GMT daily, that’s 8 races per day for every day of the week except when it clashes with the Mini Enduro by Next Level Racing, in which they will alternate.

The Mini Enduro by Next Level Racing will now have 3 main races per day, these will happen at 17:30 pm, 20:30 pm & 23:30 pm GMT on the same days as they usually do, which are Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

Your daily Quick Races will remain unchanged and act as the foundation to your SimGrid Seasons, with 3 different tracks being used on rotation every week of the Season, in some cases with the same track(s) being used as a ‘tester’ for the main two championships in Half Hour Dash and Mini Enduro.

All this is being done because of our analysis from previous seasons and in the pursuit of always improving the product and the experience on offer. Altering the frequency and time slots of these races will help with higher attendance and bigger grids.

The Prizes On Offer

As mentioned above, you will have seen Thrustmaster and Next Level Racing are still on board with SimGrid Seasons and both sponsor two different championships respectively. The Half Hour Dash is powered by Thrustmaster and the Mini Enduro is powered by Next Level Racing.

For this season in the Half Hour Dash Thrustmaster has kindly provided a brand-new T598 Direct Drive Bundle worth $500 and it can be yours. Like last season, it is a random prize draw. To get your name in the prize draw all you have to do is enter and finish your race(s). The more races you finish, the more entries you get into the draw, and the higher chance you have of winning the bundle.

For the Mini Enduro, Next Level Racing are back with two amazing cockpits worth $300 each. The overall winner of the Mini Enduro will walk away with a brand new Next Level Racing GT Lite Pro Cockpit. The other winner will be exactly like the Half Hour Dash, where you will be entered into a prize draw when you finish a race, and the more races completed means more entries and more chances to win.
