Coach Dave Time Attack Season 4
The month of September will kick off with the return of a series which is gaining more and more popularity, the Coach Dave Time Attack. All eyes will be on the two-time champion Daire McCormack and his main rival, Luke Whitehead, who won the second edition. Will someone else step up and grab the win? Here is the schedule of the competition.
- Monday 5th September Week 1 Qualification – Kyalami
- Monday 12th September Week 2 Qualification – Suzuka
- Monday 19th September Week 3 Qualification – Bathurst
- Thursday 29th September – Finale
The 10 fastest drivers from each qualification week will get access to the Season Finale, which will be held on a random yet-to-be-announced track. This will be made public only 24 hours before the start of the event.
The hotlap-based competition will be sponsored by Speedy Rugs, which is offering prizes to the finalists. Winners of the three weekly qualifications will get one rug, while top 10 drivers in the standings will receive a 20 EUR voucher. A 10 EUR voucher will be offered to all the finalists as well.
American All Stars Endurance Cup
While there won’t be any racing in September, the upcoming month is going to be crucial for SOP Motorsport. The popular host will be using the next days to collect signups for their new championship, the American All Stars Endurance Cup. This is a team competition, with 6 and 8 hours races. GT3 will be the only class present on track.
There is an entry fee, but a big prize pool is up for grabs. Prizes are granted both for each round and for the top 7 teams in the final standings of the championship. The American All Stars Endurance Cup will have both live and post-race stewarding and will be broadcasted as well.
Races will be held on Sundays, with the first round scheduled in October at Indianapolis. Teams and drivers will then visit Laguna Seca on the 13th of November, Watkins Glen on the 4th of December, before wrapping up the season at COTA on the 8th of January.
2point4 World Tour – Season 2
More endurance racing is brought to the table by Rapid Drivers Club. In the upcoming month, their 2point4 World Tour will visit Watkins Glen and COTA on the 14th and the 28th of September for round 3 and 4.
This multiclass championship, with GT3 and BMW M2 CS, is open to both solo drivers and teams of two. While this is not your typical long endurance competition with multiple driver swaps, keeping your cool for 144 minutes consecutively in the traffic can be a real challenge.
The series is broadcasted live on both YouTube and Twitch and a curious thing is the fact that the race venue for the Season Finale has not been decided yet. The track will be voted by the drivers racing in the championship.
GHR Xbox ACC Sunday League
Moving away from PC, consoles will be well represented by Green Hell Racing. The community is set to start its third Xbox New-Gen ACC season on Sunday, September 11th. 10 long weeks of racing ahead with a European-friendly starting time, between 6 and 6.30 pm UTC.
The championship is going to be a big one, open to all drivers of all kinds of levels in possession of an Xbox Series S or X. In fact, a total of 60 racers will be divided into four categories: PRO, Silver, AM and Rookie. In order to make space for everyone, the championship will be hosted on two different servers.
This event is beginner friendly, there is no penalty for missing races and there are no entry fees. Despite being a free competition for everyone to join, Green Hell Racing have made some prizes available to spice things up. Championship winners in each class will get a CDA 1 track + car combo bundle.
