Communities are the very backbone of what makes SimGrid so special, and it was our mission going into 2025 to revamp the community experience and give back to those who have supported us over the years to help grow this platform to what you see today.
We now boast more than 1,300 communities, 110,000 users, more than 7,200 events created and over 220,000 event registrations for leagues and championships. Huge numbers for our platform. Huge numbers showing you that having your community on SimGrid is the right choice.
Community Management Simplified
With our brand new refresh for communities, we have simplified and enhanced things across the spectrum, and we are investing back into our communities.
The first big change? We are getting rid of the terminology ‘hosts’.
SimGrid hosts, will now be referred to as ‘SimGrid Communities’ because, after all, that is what you are. Fully fledged, organised and structured communities that use the SimGrid platform to create and run your leagues and events.
Secondly, we are proud to release a new, simpler, value-driven subscription plan that sees us do away with the boosts system. We acknowledge that at the high end, boosts were becoming expensive for those particular communities who were investing in unlocking our GridOS feature, some of you were spending almost $20 p/m.
This change isn’t solely for the benefit of our current communities; it’s designed to attract new groups, inviting them to explore and unlock the extensive features and benefits SimGrid offers, thereby elevating their communities. SimGrid is now more accessible to everyone.
New Value Subscription Plan
We are happy to release a brand new Simgrid Communities subscription model that means no community will pay more than $7.99 p/m at the high-end, yes, you communities spending almost $20 p/m on boosts save over 50% on this new model! Let’s look at the tiers:

All the communities currently with active boosts will be automatically transferred over to the new subscription plan and put into the relevant tier – so you won’t need to worry about that. But when your old boosts run out, you will need to sign up to the new subscription plans.
The Partner Programme
The Partner Programme is designed to reward your growing influence and success on SimGrid. It allows you to take your community to that next level by offering a range of benefits tailored to your level of achievements on SimGrid, such as how active your community is, how long you’ve been using us and how many members you have, amongst other things.
The Partner Programme won’t be changing in that regard, but it is more accessible to get on the programme with the new subscription tier model we have just launched. Previously you needed 4 boosts for Bronze, 6 boosts for Silver and 8 boosts for Gold. All partners now spend only $7.99 p/m to be on the programme instead of up to $24 p/m for the Gold partner.
All 3 levels unlock affiliate programmes you can benefit from including Coach Dave Delta and SimGrid Grid Pass, which will see you earn different levels of commission (10%, 12% and 15% respectively) for every sale using your unique community links.
You’ll also be able to request Coach Dave Delta coupon codes to give to your community members as prizes, depending on the project you want to pursue. With a different amount depending on your Partner Programme level.
Finally, Gold Partners get special access to a bidding pool for major sponsorships and high profile collaborations with brands that can help transform the type of event they want to use on SimGrid.
New Language Filtering
With the exponential growth of communities on the platform we understand we need to continue to diversify for you. Until now, we only ever used English as our primary language. But now as a community you will be able to update your community’s primary language.
We will be using this new feature as a way to help drivers filter events and discover your communities. This feature is ideal for communities who primarily communicate in a language that is not English. For example, if you’re an Italian community that creates all of your event communications in Italian, this feature is going to help you massively.
We now have 20 languages you can choose from around the world to enhance your community experience even further and tailor it to your members. To do this go to your host page – settings – preferences – primary community language.
Extensive Game Integration
If you haven’t seen or heard the news by now, SimGrid is the official platform partner for Le Mans Ultimate and the brand new Assetto Corsa EVO title. Just two incredible reasons to have your community on SimGrid. Not in the too distant future Assetto Corsa EVO will be another title integrated onto the platform for communities to create leagues and events for. Something we are extremely proud of.
Alongside those two titles you can use SimGrid to create your leagues and events for an extensive list of racing titles that now include, AMS2, rF2, iRacing, ACC on both Consoles, ACC on PC, Gran Turismo 7 and the F1 23 and 24 titles. All with our custom built event management system created specifically for racing games.
The best way to stay up to date, gain early access and even test beta builds of these titles before they are released to the general public, is by being a SimGrid community. Something our Gold Partner communities already benefit from.

Direct game integrations, automatic leaderboards, open or restricted registrations, automatic entry list creations, single or multi-event play.
Flexible Scoring Systems
We have our incredible flexi scoring system that transforms how you operate championships and leagues. you can do class scoring, group scoring, and overall scoring. You can award fastest lap points, team points, and manufacturers points. You can even use our prebuilt scoring system options to replicate the exact systems used in series such as F1, WEC and Le Mans. Or make up an entirely custom points system of your own. All displayed in beautiful UI’s for your community members to see and use.

Upload your custom community logos and banner images, and integrate your Discord links and event calendars.
