SimGrid launches a brand new hot lap competition today, which you can be a part of.
There are some great prizes that you can win by setting one of the fastest laps on our servers too.

How Does It Work
Starting today, SimGrid will hot lap competition servers live like the ones above that you must be in to set the laps. Any servers labelled ‘SimGrid F2004 Hot Lap Competition Server’ are eligible. You will be setting laps around others also completing laps for the competition.
The combination will be the Ferrari F2004 Formula 1 car at Spa Francorchamps GP in clear weather conditions.
There is no limit as to how many laps you want to set, or how many lap times you want to submit, but you must take a screenshot or photo of the entire screen and lap for validation, or upload the lap to YouTube for submission.
The hot lap competition lasts as long as Open Beta does, so you should roughly get a whole week of the competition being live. As soon as AC Evo comes out of Open Beta, the competition closes.
The top 3 times in the leaderboards at the end of the competition will win prizes. A driver can only win one prize. Three different drivers will win the three prizes.

Submitting Your Lap Time
There is a very specific way to submit your lap times for this hot lap competition, and this is through the SimGrid AC Evo Leaderboards.
On the leaderboard page, you’ll see the bright red ‘Submit Leaderboard Entry’ button. Click that.
You don’t need to put anything into the community box, but then you must fill out the rest. As above:
- Choose Circuit de Spa Francorchamps – GP
- You choose the Ferrari F2004 car
- You input your lap time manually
- Upload a SS or photo showing clearly the lap time and car on the server
- Uploading a YouTube video of the lap is optional
We will not accept any other form of entry or submission for this hot lap competition, and you must use the SimGrid AC Evo Leaderboards.
The Prizes
We have three great prizes up for grabs for this hot lap competition.
Simply be amongst the top three fastest times during Open Beta and you’ll win one of them.
- First place: wins a £100 voucher
- Second place: wins a £50 voucher
- Third place: wins a £50 voucher
These vouchers can be redeemed at Race Anywhere – and can be used to help with your purchase of anything on their website. They even offer worldwide shipping.
The winners will be contacted via the email address or Discord attached to their SimGrid profile.
